MEET THE MEMBERS
L.L. ( Spider) Loubser
With over 35 years experience in business, Spider is the founder and CEO of L&L Group.
This visionary fly half, still sporting his Paarl Boys High nick name, obtained a degree in Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch and applied his knowledge of people as an entrepreneur in the automotive industry, over time building his consortium of successful companies and brought them together as L&L Group.
Lizanne Loubser
Lizanne started her career in1998 as admin clerk and matured within the group to become business manager of the Asset Finance Division as well as Import Manager.
While qualifying as a Finance & Insurance Business Manager in 2007, Lizanne gained valuable experience and knowledge in leading corporate companies as well as completing a Diploma in Marketing Management.
Her passion and drive for success will lead L&L Group to achieve greater heights than ever.
Maré (Loubser) van der Berg
Maré is a qualified Fashion Designer who turned business women and fully qualified F&I in the motor trade.
Her dedication and work ethic helped build the L&L Infinity brand. Her sights are now set on the Property Development leg of the group and she started furthering her studies in this area.
Together with her husband Dewald they are literally building towards another great success. In 2019 the couple emigrated to New Zeeland to pursue further construction and development endeavours.
OUR HISTORY
The year was 1943 when a young man from humble beginnings recognised opportunity and launched his very own business in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town. It was a time of hard work, focus and perseverance for the young man – The only way he knew how to make a success of his endeavour during a trying and difficult time. The late Sakkie Loubser was a hard working man with integrity, who believed in loyalty to his clients and surrounding himself with good people. Family was employed and L&L Motors was born. Sakkie’s formula for success would see the name L&L become an authority in the automotive trade.
In 1982 his son Spider Loubser took the reins and propelled the business to the next level. L&L Motors would expand into a new division known as Western Cape Rentals – First as a car rental company and later as a luxury coach rental service that would become the largest independently owned tour operator in South Africa. Spider further expanded with ZX Auto and became a major player in the Chinese automotive import industry. This journey sparked the concept of a group of companies that would embody the combined strength, successes and infrastructure of all the individual businesses.
Spider’s daughters Lizanne and Maré Loubser joined the new endeavour and the focus shifted from sales to financing with L&L Asset Finance. Another success and soon the need for an investment company was identified. L&L Infinity followed in the footsteps of its siblings – Success!
L&L was growing at a steady pace and the need for a property development leg was identified. L&L merged with Dewald van der Berg construction and L&L Developers broke ground. Today we have all these success stories under the proud umbrella of The L&L Group of companies.
L&L Group is build on those very same pillars of hard work, honesty, loyalty and affordability that was given to us by the founder of L&L Motors back in 1943 – The late Mr. Sakkie Loubser.
